Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) and the host Salt Lake Academy Griffins (Herriman, UT), saw Bingham's soccer squad knock off Salt Lake Academy by a count of 3-1.

The Miners (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). The Sentinels enter the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Mountain Ridge tipped Herriman (West Herriman, UT), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Griffins battle the Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Salt Lake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT).
