With the triumph, James Monroe advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to clash with the Renegades in a test on Wednesday, August 28. The Renegades come into the test with a record of 0-3. WestSide lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV)

The Patriots now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pocahontas County for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Midland Trail will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Webster County (Upper Glade, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
