The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) and the visiting Portal Panthers (Portal, GA), observed Emanuel County Institute's softball team notch a victory over Portal by a tally of 12-0.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their bout against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles go into the 1A D-II Region 3 bout with a 3-6 record. In their last bout, Jenkins County was routed by Metter (Metter, GA), 14-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 bout, on Thursday, August 29. Portal will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 20-0 league win over McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA).
