In Tuesday's league test, the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Portal Panthers (Portal, GA), by a tally of 14-2.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 test, on Wednesday, September 25. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The War Eagles go into the test with a 4-12 record after their 11-3 league loss to Metter (Metter, GA).

The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-II Region 3 test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Claxton was routed by Screven County (Sylvania, GA), 11-1, in a league test.
