Georgia High School Softball - Whitewater Sandy Creek

The Whitewater Wildcats softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Sandy Creek Patriots to 1 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fayette County for a 3A Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 29. Whitewater will confront a Tigers team coming off a 16-13 league win over Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Sandy Creek moves to 4-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 29. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 6-5. Mary Persons lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against Spalding (Griffin, GA)
