In Tuesday's league match, the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Dragons battle the LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 29. Pickens will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Ramblers enter the match with a 12-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA).

The Indians (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Bears enter the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Cherokee Bluff notched a victory over Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA), 2-0, in a non-league match.
