North Carolina High School Volleyball - Sanderson over Athens Drive

The Sanderson Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Athens Drive Jaguars to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Franklinton for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Sanderson will confront a Red Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Red Rams record now stands at 6-1.

The Jaguars (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles go into the CAP 8A game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Enloe gained a win over South Garner (Garner, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
