The Honoka'a Dragons (Honoka'a, HI) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Makua Lani Christian Lions (Holualoa, HI), 3-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Dragons now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kealakehe for a Big Island I bout on Tuesday, September 2. Honoka'a will confront a Waveriders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hawaii Prep (Kamuela, HI). The Waveriders record now stands at 1-1.

The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI). The Wildcats come into the Big Island I bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Konawaena fell by Parker (Kamuela, HI), 3-0, in a league bout.
