In Thursday's league challenge, the host Honoka'a Dragons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Makua Lani Christian Lions.
The Dragons (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kohala (Kapaau, HI). The Cowboys come into the Big Island I challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Kohala lost by Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next up, the Lions confront the Kohala Cowboys (Kapaau, HI) in a Big Island I game, on Monday, September 22. Makua Lani Christian will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record.
