North Carolina High School Volleyball - Swain County over Tuscola

In Monday's non-league contest, the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Maroon Devils face the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a Big Smoky Mountain 1A contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Swain County will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Highlands (Highlands, NC).

With the loss, Tuscola moves to 3-2 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Franklin (Franklin, NC) to face the Panthers in a Mountain Seven 3A contest on Tuesday, August 29. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 5-0. Franklin won 3-0 in their recent league contest against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)
