The Raiders now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Rowan for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. North Iredell will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Statesville drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to clash with the Indians in a Western Foothills 3A bout on Tuesday, September 3.
