The Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) flag football trounced the host Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK), 39-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Malemutes now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wasilla for a Railbelt outing on Friday, August 29. Lathrop will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 20-14 league loss to Colony (Palmer, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Redington drops to 0-6 on the year. The Huskies host North Pole (North Pole, AK) to battle the Patriots in a Railbelt contest on Saturday, September 6. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 6-1.
