The Carson Cougars topped the visiting East Rowan Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Northwest Cabarrus for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Carson will play a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, East Rowan drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 0-2.
