The New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) volleyball knocked off the host Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Lafayette for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. New Kent will clash with a Rams team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
