North Carolina High School Volleyball - Smoky Mountain Tuscola

The Smoky Mountain Mustangs volleyball squad (Sylva, NC), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC)

With the win, Tuscola improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Franklin (Franklin, NC) to meet the Panthers in a contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 5-1. Franklin won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Pisgah (Canton, NC)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Smoky Mountain will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
