North Carolina High School Volleyball - Tuscola Smoky Mountain

In Tuesday's league match, the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) volleyball team knocked off the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), by a margin of 2-0.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Brevard for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 25. Smoky Mountain will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Tuscola drops to 7-11 on the year. The Mountaineers host Franklin (Franklin, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 25. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 12-3. Franklin won 2-0 in their recent league match against Pisgah (Canton, NC)
