The Titans enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 7-3 league win over Towns County (Hiawassee, GA).

With the loss, Briarwood Academy moves to 3-4 on the season. The Buccaneers host Brentwood (Sandersville, GA) to confront the War Eagles in a GIAA Class A & AA District 4 battle on Tuesday, September 2. The War Eagles come into the battle with a record of 7-0. Brentwood won 6-0 in their recent non-league battle against Glascock County (Gibson, GA)
