The Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars softball squad (Louisville, GA), was routed 13-0 in Tuesday's league bout with the visiting Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA)

The Buccaneers (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Lake Oconee Academy gained a win over Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA), 13-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 4 game, on Thursday, September 11. Thomas Jefferson Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 5-5 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA).
