North Carolina High School Volleyball - Queen's Grant over Carolina International

August 28, 2025: Matthews, NC 28105

The Queen's Grant Stallions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Carolina International Comets to 0 in the Stallions league triumph on Thursday.

The Stallions now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game on Tuesday, September 2. Queen's Grant will confront a Gryphons squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 5-3.

The Comets (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The Mariners enter the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Jackson Day gained a win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
