The Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln-Way East for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Guilford will clash with a Griffins team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Freeport drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Pretzels host Jefferson (Rockford, IL) to clash with the J-Hawks in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout on Tuesday, September 2.
