Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Muscle Shoals beat Florence (Florence, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Wildcats face the Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) in a 2A Area 14 game, on Tuesday, September 2. Tharptown will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record.
