The Jefferson Dragons the host Oconee County Warriors softball squad by a final score of 15-11 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Dragons (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots go into the 5A Region 8 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Heritage was routed by Clarke Central (Athens, GA), 7-2, in a league battle.

The Warriors now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Social Circle for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 31. Oconee County will confront a Redskins squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 8-1.
