The Jefferson Dragons got by the visiting Oconee County Warriors softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Dragons (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA). The Falcons go into the 5A Area 8 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Flowery Branch nudged Jackson County (Jefferson, GA), 10-2, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Apalachee for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 10. Oconee County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Brookwood (Snellville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
