The Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) volleyball overcame the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Metcalfe County upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 31. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Edmonson County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY)
