Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County can't hold off Monroe County

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Monroe County Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Metcalfe County Hornets.

The Falcons (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) in a battle, on Thursday, September 14. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record.
