Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County tips Monroe County

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) and the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), saw Metcalfe County's volleyball squad nip Monroe County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Metcalfe County upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Edmonson County won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY)

The Falcons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Clinton County for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Monroe County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
