Kentucky High School Volleyball - Monroe County over Metcalfe County

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Falcons battle the Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 18. Monroe County will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).

With the loss, Metcalfe County moves to 5-6 on the year. The Hornets host Russell County (Russell Springs, KY) to battle the Lakers in a contest on Thursday, September 14. The Lakers go into the contest with a record of 2-0.
