Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA), 18-3 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host LaGrange for a 4A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, August 31. Starr's Mill will battle a Grangers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Fayette County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Troup County (LaGrange, GA) to battle the Tigers in a 4A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, August 31. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Troup County won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bowdon (Bowdon, GA)
