Georgia High School Softball - Rockmart bounces Model

August 29, 2023: Rockmart, GA 30153

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) and the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), witnessed Rockmart's softball squad prevail over Model by a count of 8-0.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fannin County for a 2A Region 7 match on Thursday, August 31. Rockmart will face a Rebels squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Model moves to 4-6 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 6. The Indians go into the match with a record of 4-4. Chattooga won 1-0 in their recent league match against Pepperell (Lindale, GA)
