Georgia High School Softball - Rockmart bounces Model

Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fannin County for a 2A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Rockmart will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 16-8 league win over Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Model falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to battle the Rebels in a 2A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, October 5. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 7-11.
