Mississippi High School Volleyball - Tupelo can't hold off Germantown

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Germantown Mavericks volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Tupelo Golden Wave.
The Mavericks (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Jaguars come into the Class 7 Region 2 battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Madison Central nudged Starkville (Starkville, MS), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Golden Wave encounter the Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. Tupelo will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Arrows come into the battle with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Murrah (Jackson, MS).
