The Langston Hughes Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Griffin Bears to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Manchester for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Langston Hughes will confront a Jaguar team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Jaguar record now stands at 2-2.
The Bears (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Upson-Lee dropped by Union Grove (McDonough, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
