The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) and the host Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS), saw Hancock's volleyball squad beat Picayune by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hancock upgrades its record to 12-5 on the year. The Hawks host Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS) to play the Panthers in a Class 6 Region 7 bout on Thursday, August 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Pascagoula lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Harrison (Gulfport, MS)

The Maroon Tide now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host George County for a Class 5 Region 8 bout on Wednesday, August 30. Picayune will play a Rebels squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 2-6.
