The Izard County Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Marshall Bobcats to 1 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conway Christian for a 2A North game on Thursday, August 31. Izard County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Quitman (Quitman, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.

The Bobcats (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Quitman (Quitman, AR). The Bulldogs enter the 2A North game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Quitman dropped by Conway Christian (Conway, AR), 3-0, in a league game.
