In Monday's league battle, the visiting Izard County Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Marshall Bobcats.

The Cougars (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles come into the 2A North battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, Conway Christian achieved victory over Quitman (Quitman, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bobcats clash with the Rose Bud Ramblers (Rose Bud, AR) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Marshall will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Ramblers come into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR).
