The Moss Point Tigers volleyball team (Moss Point, MS), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS)

The Hornets (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats enter the Class 4 Region 8 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Greene County was dropped by Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS) in a Class 4 Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Moss Point will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS).
