Next, the Tigers meet the Jones Longhorns (Jones, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Coweta will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Harrah (Harrah, OK).

The Chieftains (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Fort Gibson was routed by Poteau (Poteau, OK), 6-2, in a league challenge.
