Virginia High School Volleyball - Halifax County can't hold off Heritage

In Thursday's non-league match, the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) volleyball squad tipped the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Pioneers face the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 5. Heritage will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.

The Comets (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Glass nudged Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
