Fans at Friday's league battle between the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) and the host Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), saw Greenfield's soccer squad triumph over Epiphany by a count of 8-0.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC). The Patriots enter the NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A battle with a 0-4 record.

Next up, the Falcons battle the John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Epiphany will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Grace Christian (Sanford, NC).
