Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 7-1 in a league outing.

The Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC). The Chargers go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Wayne Country Day Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC), 0-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) in a test, on Tuesday, September 16. Epiphany will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Heat come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC).
