Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) and the host Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE), observed Marian's volleyball team top Lincoln East by a count of 2-0.

The Crusaders (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Western Christian (Hull, IA). The Wolfpack go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellevue West for a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. Lincoln East will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-1.
