South Dakota High School Volleyball - Sturgis Brown Mitchell

The Mitchell Kernels prevailed the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Kernels confront the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. Mitchell will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD).

With the loss, Sturgis Brown drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Scoopers travel to Watertown (Watertown, SD) to clash with the Arrows in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. The Arrows come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Watertown won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD)
