Fans at Friday's league contest between the Osborne Bulldogs (Osborne, KS) and the host Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS), observed Osborne's volleyball team top Sylvan-Lucas by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS). The Blujays go into the Northern Plains battle with a 0-0 record.

The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thunder Ridge for a Northern Plains battle on Tuesday, September 2. Sylvan-Lucas will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 0-0 league Lakeside (Downs, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 0-0.
