Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS) and the visiting Osborne Bulldogs (Osborne, KS), observed Sylvan-Lucas's volleyball squad notch a victory over Osborne by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Sylvan-Lucas improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Thunder Ridge (Kensington, KS) to encounter the Longhorns in a Northern Plains battle on Saturday, September 20. The Longhorns go into the battle with a record of 3-7. Thunder Ridge won 2-0 in their recent league battle against Pike Valley (Scandia, KS)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John's/Tipton Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Osborne will encounter a Blujays squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Thunder Ridge (Kensington, KS). The Blujays record now stands at 8-5.
