Hinton Comets (Hinton, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Amber-Pocasset Panthers (Amber, OK), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Comets now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Apache for a 2A challenge on Thursday, September 1.
With the loss, Amber-Pocasset falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Watonga (Watonga, OK) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
