Illinois High School Volleyball - Bureau Valley over Mendota

Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Storm battle the Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL) in a Three Rivers match, on Thursday, September 1. Bureau Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Kewanee (Kewanee, IL).

With the loss, Mendota drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Illinois Math & Science (Aurora, IL) to battle the Titans in a non-league match on Friday, September 2. The Titans come into the match with a record of 0-0.
