Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY), 5-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Trigg County moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. Mary (Paducah, KY) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, September 2. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-1. St. Mary won 4-2 in their recent league test against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY)

The Lyons now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Webster County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Lyon County will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.
