Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) and the host Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY), saw Trigg County's soccer squad hold off Lyon County by a count of 3-2.

The Wildcats (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 2-7 record.

Next up, the Lyons confront the Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 23. Lyon County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 7-0 league loss to Marshall County (Benton, KY).
