Nebraska High School Softball - Ashland-Greenwood bounces Malcolm

The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Malcolm Clippers to 0 in the Bluejays non-league win on Saturday.

The Bluejays now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fremont for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. Ashland-Greenwood will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.

The Clippers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mercy (Omaha, NE). The Monarchs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Mercy toppled Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE), 9-4, in a non-league challenge.
