Nebraska High School Softball - Malcolm gets by Ashland-Greenwood

September 15, 2025: Ashland, NE 68003

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) and the host Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE), observed Malcolm's softball team get by Ashland-Greenwood by a final score of 6-5.

The Clippers (10-9) will now prepare for their bout against Seward (Seward, NE). The Bluejays go into the non-league bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Seward was nipped by Douglas County West (Valley, NE), 11-8, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Bluejays face the Plattsmouth Blue Devils (Plattsmouth, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 18. Ashland-Greenwood will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Blue Devils go into the match with a 8-10 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Yutan-Mead (Yutan, NE).
